My inspiration

In my year and a half in Chicago I have made it my mission to do a lot of things, learn the city, succeed at my job, meet interesting people and have as many experiences as possible. Being in the heart of a major world city it is amazing the opportunities that are available at your finger tips and amazing how many people don't take advantage of them. Since I first arrive I have made it my goal to get involved in a variety of organizations not only to meet people but to make sure I am continuously learning and growing. It is easy to get caught in the pattern of your everyday life and to forget to push yourself to grow. I decided to make a goal to try and go to at least one education event a week for the next few months and I thought it would be valuable to document I have learned and the experiences I have had.
